Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Playstation 3

Too short game,

This is where the death of the first person shooter genre began. Creativity was thrown out of the window in favor of games being expansion packs. Here we are in 2013 and, instead of core gameplay fixes and graphical engine upgrades, all this series gets is new maps, new guns, new killstreaks and more explosions. In essence, bigger is better

Didnt like the game itself.

This is the first FPS game that I bought in probably over 5 years, and I had a blast. If youre a casual gamer like me, and just want some eye candy and an easy to follow game where you shoot down the bad guys...this is it. The campaign mode is pretty short I guess, around 6 hours of play time. But the online gameplay is nice, and its a good game to have when friends come over and you want a split-screen shooter. Overall, its a fun game; its easy to pick up and you get to shoot down a bunch of russkies.

2007s Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare (better known as CoD4) easily surpassed the expectations of even the most ardent admirers of the Call Of Duty series. It successfully took the WW2-inspired storyline and dynamics of the CoD games and created a superbly paced FPS with memorable setpieces. It was one of the best games of this generation. Does its true successor, Modern Warfare 2 surpass it? The simple answer must be no; but it is still a fun, addictive and well-crafted shooter with the revered online component fully intact.

Bought this for its multiplayer, but unfortunately no one is on the servers anymore.

ok sure, there are a couple bugs in the game and yes, the multiplayer was kind of a pain when trying to get friends in on it, but that still doesnt take away from the epic sweetness of the game. The snow level is my favorite so far but then again I was inebrieted and my friend did most of the playing....until I took over for the snowmobile part and then WOWZAS!!!!!!!! that part alone was sweeter than SSX3!!!! But heres my take so far, after a night of beer, pizza, and more beer......The multiplayer totally kicks ass and theres a lot of new stuff to enjoy and/or adapt to. If youre having problems inviting people then you, and your friend(s) need to sign out, and sign back in to the PSN. It worked when three of us tried it and we did just fine for the rest of the night. no game is perfect and these bugs Im sure arent going to last very long. Im sure all the bugs will be fixed by christmas...whichll be sweet because thats when all of the little eight year olds with negligant parents get the game and make real easy targets in free for all :)

Great game with lots of extras for endless fun.

O.k., so you can gather from numerous other reviews that the gameplay is awesome, and most people play online version (i.e. Multiplayer). I just want you to be prepared for infinite network interruptions, game disconnects, and some strange player out of index error. All these things pull the plug on your current online game.

good game good graphics the only bad thing is the stupid challenges at the end of every board just get to the next level already.
