CamelBak Lobo Bike Hydration Backpack - Helmet Carry - Magnetic Tube Trap - 100 oz

> 3 dayHonestly, I cannot say anything really bad about Camelbak products. They do a good job of providing a water source while outside being active. I feel that this pack is quality made and is now my go to pack for on the trail. I still have my old Camelback I bought back in 2005 and it still works great, just only replaced the bladder. Pockets and pouches are a matter of personal preference so no real criticism there. My only gripe is the magnetic tube trap isnt interchangeable for locations. The base can come off and be moved/replaced, the problem is that there is no attachment point on the other shoulder strap.

Greater than one weekThe best praise I can give is that I didnt notice it when riding my mountain bike. No pokes, slipping shoulder straps, leaking on my leg, nothing. The one thing Ill say is that they could have given the option to mount the hose on either side strap, but didnt. The little strap that the mag clip hooks to is only on the right, which is the opposite of where Im used to having my hose. That said, it does hold it where I can drink no hands most of the time(sometimes it slips) And the bite valve is rectangular, you have to bite on the side or nothing. My old Source bag was round, position didnt matter. It does have a nice flip lever to shut the water off though. Simple, if its in your way, its off, out of the way, its on. Now, filling it is a whole different matter, its very awkward to fill all the way because you have to lay it flat, while holding it under the chin(theres a plastic tab to do just that) then pour into the hole without spilling into the rest of the pack. The open topped, fold over and slide the bar on type on my Source bag worked much easier. And since I havent seen it well covered here, heres the pack layout. Theres a top zipper that gets you to the water pouch, you could put things in there, but I wont. Just below/behind this is another zipper with a pouch that goes 2/3 of the way to the bottom of the pack, about 3 below this is an open topped drop in pouch that also goes to the bottom. Just below that is another zipper pouch, still about 12 deep, that goes all the way down as well. Inside this is a shallower pocket with a key clip above it, and two small net pouches that would fit an energy bar or the like. And I dont get the panic about the magnet, at worst, your phone will be on the opposite strap, 4-5 away, I carry mine in the drop in pouch, so no worries. I carry a flip phone in an added pouch on the other strap, easy to get to and use with one hand if youve crashed and broken something and cant get the pack off. Overall, I like it, but what these things cost nowadays is ridiculous. But my old CB lasted 20 years, with only a broken zipper leading to its replacement. If this ones that good, Ill be in the ground before it breaks, turning 60 next month.

> 3 dayEs una excelente mochila de hidratación, realmente muy cómoda y fácil de usar aunque no tiene mucho espacio para llevar nada más, solo lo apenas esencial.

17-11-2024The camelback is great, amazing stitching and material. However… the bladder tastes like plastic. Every single camelback bladder tastes like this. I’ve tried washing it, but I can’t get my water to my taste like plastic. If you are considering purchasing this, throw out the bladder, and buy a platypus or osprey bladder, they will taste like normal water.

> 3 dayI like the size of this compared to a similarly constructed womens size CamelBak I recently tried out. This one is the perfect size for my frame (58, long torso) and I like the amount of water it fits. Theres plenty of room for all of the little necessities I need in the pockets. The reason Im not head over heels is the material. This pack in no way compared to the quality of my first/favorite CamelBak I received while in AIT for the Army. It looks and feels like a cheaper material. Other than that, it feels light, is nicely ventilated, and suits its purpose.

Greater than one weekThis item is the perfect size for long cycling rides. Live in the Midwest and it gets very hot and humid. I used to struggle to stay hydrated on long rides. But this is a game changer. Best thing I got for Father’s Day!

Greater than one weekIt started leaking the 2nd time of use. The pouch is not useable & its unfortunate because of the price point. You would think if you pay more you get better quality but that’s not the case here.
