CanaKit 3.5A Raspberry Pi 4 Power Supply with PiSwitch (USB-C)

I have had 2 of these. One came with my raspberry pi kit and that one never worked at all. I ordered just this switch because everything else in the kit worked great. The second one works but only if I disconnect it after each use. I can connect it turn it on, turn it off after I shut down but it wont turn back on until I disconnect and reconnect it. It kind of defeats the purpose since I can just unplug my pi if I have to do that anyway.

This is a very versatile Power Supply given it has an optional switch that can be detached. Currently I am actually using this with a Beaglebone AI and it works perfectly.

Convenient, like all wall power supplies.

This is a perfect RPi power supply and the on/off switch is something the RPi has needed for a long time (in my opinion). This is a great value for the price.

Im really enjoying tinkering with this Canakit Pi 4 kit! I have one in my room that I use with a Logitech wireless keyboard (built in track pad) as a media player, web browser, and retropi setup. I also have one that I installed in my Arcade1up cabinet for a retropi conversion and it works great! Hop on youtube and youll find hundreds of different projects including robotics that this Pi can handle.

I just got this kit because of issues I was having with the Vilros power supply that came with a Vilros Raspberry Pi kit I purchased. I should have listened to the recommendations to stay with the Cana Kit branding. This PS is much better quality in every aspect. The cables are thicker and stronger. The power delivery is much better. I was having constant shut downs with the Vilros PS and never realized what the problem was. Now that I have the Cana Kit PS I have had no shut downs or re boots.

What can I say... It delivers the power the raspberry pi4 needs.

Ive built two retropies in the past, and purchased this as the power supply to my first pi4 build. Ill spare everyone the heartache - do not purchase this as a power supply for the pi4. the red light will come on, you will think its working, but its not. i tried switching out the Pi itself for a new one. tried different video cables. EVERYTHING. and I could not get any monitor to recognize the pi booting. And then someone on reddit suggested only using the official power supply. Lo and behold, it booted without a problem. Buyer beware, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS AS A POWER SUPPLY FOR THE PI4
