Canon PGI-250XL Black Twin Pack Compatible to MG6320, iP7220 & MG5420, MX922, MG7120, MG6420, MG5520, MG7520, MG6620, MG5620

I bought 4 color pack and one of the ink was half empty on the initial use.

While looking for an M replacement cartridge of this model, I came across this today. Read the box, not the given description of it, people! NOWHERE does the box show this to be an XL cartridge. It is also listed at the same price as a regular M cartridge. And why? Because it is self-evidently the same cartridge. This may be either Amazons fault or Canons, I have no idea. What matters is that the picture of the box, which is the last word on its contents, shows it to be a regular cartridge. (When and if this is corrected my review automatically becomes outdated. But this review pertains to the item listed for sale on 1/19/16.)

Im finding that my Canon ix6820 produces a much better photo than my Epson XP-830. The Epson is constantly leaving streaks of black ink on the photos, because the black cartridges seem to leak. When I want to print photos, I have to remove the black cartridges and carefully wipe the silicone ring around the print heads to remove this excess ink. Then I can print photos with no black streaks, but the Epson has always put too much ink down on the prints and images containing plaid shirts or similar areas tend to get muddied in the darker areas of the photos The Canon printer and inks do not do this, even when printing the same photo that was printed on the Epson. I hope the new XL cartridges for the Canon last a lot longer than the first set that came with the printer, or Ill be looking for a new econo tank printer for cheaper operating costs. I have no complaints at all with the print quality of the Canon, just hope I can get economical use out of these new XL cartridges.

Good ink at a good price and it lasts a good length of time. The added photo paper bonus added to my satisfaction! I ruined my last printer by using lower quality ink. I learned my lesson and only use Canon now. I love that I can replace just one cartridge at a time rather than my old printer that needed replacing when just one color ran out. While this is expensive, it lasts much longer.

expensive, but whats the option. I dont want to chance having a refilled tank leak all over my printer like my sons did

I was not happy that the package was left outside, instead of placing it in the entry way at the door like normal. And, when I opened the package the ink cartridge box was open and the cartridges had fallen out. Im not sure if I received the correct thing or not. Not happy
