Its sturdy, holds a lot of fluid and it performed as I expected it to.

I have been using a basic plastic oil pan which got pretty full with 5 qts of oil drained. My problem was when pouring it out, it could come out in a 5 inch wide swath, so had to pour at a higher level. I broke down and paid the extra money for this drain pan. Huge difference. It was much sturdier, deeper so the oil was not near the edges - great for not spilling on concrete, the drain spout and handles made it easy to pour into my plastic jug for recycling. No funnel needed.

Bought this high priced product due to good reviews and then this happens! No more plastic for me! Think twice before considering purchase. Also hard to clean with all of those raised areas Disappointed....

Overall am pleased w product after completing first oil change chance. Big enough for my truck. Reason for the 4 stars is that once you’re done and trying to drain or clean oil from pan it is difficult to drain or remove a decent amount due to design. Rags had to be used to remove a good amount. I’m talking about removing oil and not necessarily cleaning it.

This thing is so much bigger than I expected! In my opinion, that is a good thing, but check the dimensions if you need it for a tight space. This is made of a very strong plastic and I enjoy the pour spout.

I get that the form is the use with the indentions and extrusions are designed to create rigidity, which they do, much better than the Walmart version that is half this price. While this is a great size, and you don’t have to worry about moving it as the stream of oil, or transmission fluid, or whatever, starts to slow down; I think the only way they could get it that big while still being strong was by creating lots of crevices for the fluids to get stuck in. If this doesn’t need to be cleaned out all the way because it is kept in the shop, or you don’t have to worry about kids getting into it it’s probably a five star product. If you have to clean it out every single time it’s probably closer to a three star product. I happen to be in the middle of that spectrum, so it gets four.

As like others have said, its very big. i guess it good if your changing the oil in a big truck, but for my motorcycle its more than i need

It’s very durable and has a spout. I bought the bright green so I can find it easier. Capacity is great for average vehicles.
