> 24 hourThese work good, they are easier for my 5 yr old to put them on herself than the pull down bungee ones. My complaint is, the straps that go around the car seat head don’t stay tight. I tighten them each time before I strap my 2yr old in, but by the time I get home they are already loose again, so her head still falls forward slightly, But not as bad as if she wasn’t wearing it at all. So I still prefer to use these over not. As far as thickness they are a little thick, with padding, so in the summer they are hot, my babies head sweats. Also heads up, the Velcro can snag your car seat. Overall I still like these but they could use some improvements.
