I decided to try again for our recent trip with this brand, and very happy I did. From departure to return flight, not a single tear in the fabric. There could be a bit more padding on the shoulder straps, but its durability won the day.

The padding wasn’t really helpful on the straps, but it is nice to stuff extra things into the bag other than car seats for the kids.

Upon our trip the bag now has 3 rips on the bottom side, of course the airport staff are not gonna be too gentle, the bottom material has to be made more sturdy and have some rubber padding or something. $20 for one time use, not so feasible.
