> 3 dayOne of the best solders to use as it has a low melting point

> 3 dayGreat stuff, easy to work with, on par with WBT 0800 but much more economical. Flows easy with a low temperature melting point.

> 3 dayI have used Cardas solder in the past, and reordered a small 10 foot order from you last year. When that ran out I ordered a spool from you. I have come to appreciate the chemistry and how important the eutectic formula is. Cardas is excellent solder. I even use it to flush out the yukky solder from Chinese PCBs during repair. Its like solder lube, makes reworking small parts much easier. I have learned to be more sparing with Cardas. It makes such a good joint I dont need to use as much as I used to use. I have been tempted to try Wonder Solder and others, but I will stay with Cardas until I find a reason to change. I have not tried the lead free Cardas yet.

> 3 dayI needed something that sounded better than regular solder. This is the best sounding solder Ive found. If you care about audio buy this solder. It is a littler harder to use, however it will be worth the price and effects. Once you hear the fine details in your music you will not go back to regular solder.

> 3 dayDespite some adverse reviews this product has received, I gave it a try. It really is the best industrial solder I have ever used. It creates very clean, strong and shiny soldering points, perfect for audio equipment construction. After measuring mainly resistance results on the conductors, one can see the circuits are never adversely affected. Very easy to use, follows the flux path exactly and leaves no porosity in the bonding points. Excellent!!

20-11-2024Good product, but rosin smell is unpleasant to me. Will probably go back to Wonder Solder.

> 3 dayThis is by far my favorite solder for a variety of reason first it is leaded this is a good sign as a lot of lead free solders have a high reputation of making cold joints. Next it is great because it uses great flux even if i got some oil from my fingers onto some of the joints i NEVER had a cold solder joint using this solder. It also is a Eutectic mix this means that it has a very low melting point compared to other solders and that all the metals in it are at least 99.99% pure. This solder also has both silver and copper in it and to anyone who knows how conductive those metals are would point out they are the 2 most conductive metals out of any other it is still mainly tin and lead but this is a nice touch for audiophile connections. Overall i would say this is the best solder Ive ever used. But keep in mind that it is leaded so you should work with it in a well ventilated area or with a fume extractor. Also keep in mind that it does use rosin flux which means you should get a flux cleaner if you dont want your circuit board covered in the flux residue.
