> 3 dayfeels rough to the touch, like rug yarn or worse... not something Ill buy again. Disappointed as I bought some of the Dalmation Jumbo and its super soft. Dont like this new white and very unhappy with it... also thicker than the other Ive purchased on Amazon and other sites.

> 3 dayI like the brand (Caron) & the 1 lb. size. The color I chose (lilac), to me, seems closer to a light gray than a light shade of purple. I hadnt seen the color in person, but its OK and I will use it.

> 3 dayWith all the yarn I have, not one skein of bright white. Got it in 1 day. Despite all over problems of making the owners riccher, that service make it possible to keep working on the hats for the womens shelter.

> 3 dayI found the skein to be very rough and stiff. Much more so than any other Caron yarn Ive purchased before.

> 3 dayWhile I normally knit with natural fiber yarn, there are always those projects where acrylic is a far better choice. I bought this yarn to make a huge floor blanket for a baby (about 4000 yards of yarn needed!!). It is soft, easy to work with, easy to care for, very durable, and a great value. The colors are very nice and I have never had them run or fade. I have a need to make another one of those blankets and I will definitely be buying more of this yarn.

> 3 dayIve never had an issue with this brand before, but for whatever reason, my last purchase smelled like a dorm bathroom. Ive let them air out for a few weeks now and the smell seems to have dissipated and is barely present now. In a time crunch, you might have to wash the skein or use a gentle contact freshener. This was the first time Ive run into this issue and the smell wasnt present on the other colors I purchased. Generally speaking, I prefer Caron yarns to Red Heart because you can buy larger skeins for big projects (no tying necessary) and I find it to be slightly softer in comparison as well.
