I have used Caron “Simply Soft “ yarn for years! It is the perfect weight and texture for my projects! It’s good for a beginners use for first time projects! The color lots are true and rebatches are pretty close to color. I like the variety in color choices and the ease the texture of the yarn pulls through my fingers! Also please maintain your NC location!!!

The yarn is soft and the colors are lovely, BUT Caron has about 1/3 of the skeins all tangled inside. I usually wind a skin on a yarn ball winder and it is a very fast process and makes yarn easier to use than when its on a skein. When its tangled its a frustrating, time consuming mess. This seller should contact manufacturer and tell them about this problem. I will continue to order because its nice yarn even though I get very frustrated with the tangles.

Good quality yarn. I first used this yarn to make a six and a half foot long dragon. I like it so much that I used it to make my granddaughters mermaid wraps. Its very sturdy and very soft

I make scarves for the homeless all summer and ship them off to different shelters in the fall. This yarn is soft, warm and works up beautifully. It does have a tendency to split, but this is a minor issue.

I love the color, it has a shine to it. It is very soft. I’m going to make a hat. I’ve made two other hats with the same brand of yarn but different colors. I love it!

I made a crocheted bunny for the daughter of a former piano student. Her favorite color is green and this was perfect! Caron Simply Soft yarn is gorgeous and soooo soft. It’s my go to yarn and Amazon always seems to have the color/s that I need.

I needed a better quality yarn that would not split easily as I am using it for a 3rd to 8th grade crochet club. Club is working on Warm Up America blankets and throws so a soft acrylic is part of the requirement. Students are learning crochet so better quality/less splitting makes for less frustration with beginners. Also, they love, love, love the number of colors to choose from. Do wish it were a little less $ wise since we are on a shoestring budget supplying some 60 odd students but you get what you pay for.
