I bought this backpack because it is such a well thought out design / layout. Then I took it on one light duty trip. I put it in my car, took it into a hotel, put it back in my car and then brought it into my house. Then I noticed that the small section of the front material that is a plastic material was torn. Most of the material is a tight weave canvas and appears durable, but this small section of plastic on the upper front where the brand name is, is not durable. So I returned the backpack.

This is very spacious and convenient for travel. I needed something to carry my work laptop and other things when I travel this was perfect. I use it for everyday use at work now.

I travel for work (short trips) and use a backpack once I reach my destination. This covers both needs. Plenty of pockets and I can get a weeks worth of clothes packed without this bag being weighted down too much for carrying. It fits into the airlines overhead bins with no issues. The only issue I have is...this is NOT waterproof! Nor water resistant. I was in some heavy rain for a brief time and the bag did not handle that at all.

Im 52, 112lbs & travel A LOT.. I hate taking a lot of stuff with me & thought this was the solution to the I want to pack only a backpack...now where the heck is the thing I put in the backpack dilemma I always faced. I got it & it seemed perfect so I personalized it & began packing it........then I tried to pick it up... Yeah, no wonder it had a chest strap, cause its so big & bulky & impossible for someone of my stature to carry in any way this is designed to be carried. Then I took a longer trip & packed 1 suitcase & this backpack & slipped it over the suitcase handle & my suitcase fell over repeatedly. FF to Im at the airport, cant put this on my back or on the suitcase so Im now enduring the most awkward & difficult journey to the gate Ive ever endured. I get past the gate keeper, passing this massive bag off as a personal item only to have it in no way fit under the seat... I have tried this on 5 airlines & the only airline it fits under the seat is Frontier & its still a struggle. United..Nope. SW.. Nope. American Negative & Delta.. mmmm Nope.. I absolutely hate this bag & regret buying it with every fiber of my being. Yeah the compartments are great & again, in theory this is amazing. ....but if youre small like I am or travel a lot & are looking for something you can tuck under a seat..... Do NOT buy this. Im about to go on a cruise & am hating the fact that I brought this as my bag... This is definitely getting donated to a friend cause Im 100% done with it. Oh....and storage capacity is actually a joke cause as you pack this bag up, even with minimal items, the back pouch barely fits a slim laptop in it & nothing else & still barely closes. I removed everything out of this backpack & shoved it into a cheap, novelty backpack & everything fit perfectly... No bulk. No struggle & it closed perfectly. See photo compared to a People magazine when theres nothing in the front pocket or the back pocket & only 4 t-shirts & 1 pair of shorts in the main backpack compartment.. and its already too heavy to comfortably carry around. Save yourself the hassle & just stick with a normal backpack that can actually be used as a personal item & fit under all airline seats..
