Bought it for a four day trip to Florida. Held everything I needed and probably could have stuffed more in. Threw it on my back and hauled it through the airports with no problem. Fit easily into the overhead rack. Didnt give it 5s because have only gone on one trip so far.

Getting anything online is a bit of a gamble, but this really paid off! Essentially, this is a small to medium sized, soft-sided suitcase with backpack straps. The straps can be tucked into their own pocket if you dont want them out. Where typical backpacks only open from the top (like a bag), this unit opens fully (like a suitcase) and is very easy to pack because of this. I spent a week living out of it and had room for six shirts, two pants, socks, underwear, slippers, chargers, headphone case and toiletries. Yes, I had to release the expansion clips to fit all that, but thats actually good that they give you the option to do so. There were enough pouches and pockets to keep things organized to. The straps are padded and never dug into my shoulders. Also the added handles around the thing were very useful. If I had to change anything, I might add wheels and a telescoping handle, but that would make it heavier and more difficult to store, so really this was about as close to perfect as luggage can get. I took this to Europe with me. I was able to pack a couple weeks clothes in here, complete with cold weather layering items. I matched it to my crossbody (Amazon) and Nikes. It’s dived a lot of compliments. It still looks new and stayed surprisingly clean & stain free.

We used these on a 2-week tour of Scotland and Iceland, where we were moving almost every day from one town to another via train or bus. The backpack straps tucked quite neatly away in a pocket for the airline flight, and could be changed over to backpack style quickly and easily. The pack was comfortable to carry and had good adjustments on the straps. The material was sturdy, zippers worked with no problems, and there were lots of pockets for keeping maps, books, tickets, and other flat items. They opened flat like a regular suitcase so it was easy to pack and unpack. Has a chest strap but no hip belt. SO MUCH EASIER to carry than hauling a suitcase by hand; I was really glad we got these. We got one blue one and one black so we could tell them apart.

I spent a long time debating this purchase and reading these reviews. Had to come back after my first use to share. Just buy it! I just used this for a long weekend trip. I bought it for the comfort of carrying with the backpack straps and the size to travel “carry on only” for flights. It fit everything I needed for a five day trip to Florida with room to spare. Very comfortable to carry as a backpack or with the padded handles. Our trip changed at the last second from a plane trip to warm weather Florida to a Fall weekend car getaway in New England. Swapping shorts and T-shirt’s for jeans and sweatshirts and still was able to fit everything I needed although I did have to use the expansion for that. Love that it isn’t hard sided. Much easier to add more if needed and compress with the straps. Backpack shoulder straps connect to the body of the bag with metal clips which seem durable. Material is thick and good quality. Zippers move easily and seem durable. Definitely my new favorite bag for any weekend trip by car or plane. Excited to use it for car camping as well where I need a bigger bag and could use the convenience of a backpack but don’t want to use a full hiking backpack. Lots of little pockets to help organize. I could easily fly somewhere for a week with just this and not even need a second personal item on the plane. Can’t say for sure how durable it is over time since I’ve only done one trip but it seems like it will hold up well.

Using this as a personal item on a flight basically doubled my carry-on packing space. It was extremely comfortable to carry due to the padded shoulder straps. It was padded enough that I didnt feel that my 15 MacBook Pro was at risk. Now to be honest, my rating on durability and sturdiness is a projection. However, after going across the pond a couple of times with this bag, I dont see any signs of wear/tear. I think this is one of my best purchases of 2022!

I bought this to comply with a carry on for airline travel. I have been able to fit several outfits and shoes in this backpack. This has been my only luggage for several trips and recently I used it to pack for a week long cruise! Its very spacious and comfortable to carry. No problem with fitting it in the overhead bin in the airplane. I may purchase another bag for my children because the value and quality cant be beat.

I bought this bag without knowing really much about it other than reading the reviews on Amazon. I was taking a trip to Israel and wanting something versatile to take along. This bag has been tough and versatile and then some. I have packed it full with everything it will take. In fact so much stuff that it was heavy to carry by hand. This pack has handles to carry it vertically or horizontally, but also padded shoulder straps making it a backpack. You can zip it open like a regular suitcase. You can zip it up, strap it up very tightly, and stow the shoulder straps in their own zipper compartment so the bag has nothing hanging out if you want to check it at the airport. A separate zipper gives you an extra couple of inches of space should you need it. It has been on three very tough trips with lots of rough handling and supporting very heavy loads. The bag still looks almost new. Nothing has broken, zippers have not separated or come unstitched. Should anything happen to this one I will buy another one. Very pleased with this travel backpack.
