I wanted to try more reasonably priced luggage before buying bigger brand names. Since this is also backed by Prime free returns, I thought Id buy this first. Right away, the weight felt significant. The product description here and on their site states its 7 lbs, but it did not feel like it and when put on a scale it was around 9lbs. Many airlines allow carry on luggage to be around 20lbs, so the bag itself was almost half of that weight. I thought the case itself was pretty decent, but when I bought the more expensive brand of luggage, I felt there was a significant difference in quality. The brand name was almost double the price of this, but it felt a lot more durable and worth the cost. I also bought a $40 no brand luggage on Amazon to compare, and although that one felt cheap, it doesnt feel too different from this luggage. If you dont want to spend a lot of money on a luggage, I would suggest you buy an even cheaper cost of bag than this one because the quality wouldnt be that big of a difference.

Bought this suitcase after comparing several brands and price points for a trip to Asia. Upon arrival, I was really happy with the exterior durability. I also purchased compressible packing cubes to maximize the space, and let me just say I was able to fit 2 pairs of shoes, and almost 10-12 days worth of clothing inside this suitcase. I was so happy! And it was still very lightweight once I packed it for my trip. I was easily able to lift it into the overhead bins and the wheels were great for rolling through the airport and even the city. I just cleaned the wheels and they almost have no damage despite the rough roads in Asia. I even had to check the bag on one flight due to weight (thanks AirAsia…) and even with the checked bag process it came out with minimal scuffs.

The larger of the two, which I have used on 5 trips since purchasing already fell apart. Zipper broken.

Used once and the zippers snapped off. The locking system worked until I showed up at the airport and it wouldn’t lock.

Just back from a twelve day trip to Europe and Im glad I went with carry-on only with a cross-body sling bag fitting nicely over the handles.

The suitcase looks great but it scratches very easily so don’t expect it to look brand new after your first trip. That being said not still looks good after a five week trip in Europe. No regrets

As a former luggage sales manager, this luggage went beyond expectations in every way. Going forward, the rest of my luggage will be Level 8

I love this suitcase. Of course its pink - so as soon as I put it on the plane, it looked scratched and dirty - but I knew that buying a light color and expected it, thats no fault to the brand. It rolls super smooth, and I love that it has zipper closures on both sides - so regardless of how you open it, your contents arent going to spill out. Ive used it several times now and it feels very durable. I love the square design as well. My only complaint is that the handle doesnt seem to want to lock into place where I like it - but thats not a huge deal.
