Gave false readings. probably because the line I was trying to identify passed near the false read. Also once I found the correct breaker which caused me many trips back and forth I noticed that the light and beep would sound just past the breaker not on it. What helped as I went back and forth was the light on the sender that plugged in. I didnt have to go all the way to the plug. Probably better pay electrician prices for a high quality unit. Now that I own the unit I doubt that an electrician would pay this low of a price. Maybe I need practice I do not know but I am not satisfied completely.

Very disappointing I have carefully read instructions several times and it just keeps jumping around I run up and down the stairs to check the transmitter and find it’s still on! Not good for find the breaker!

Case was a suggested add-on. Case did not fit the product. Way too small. Too much trouble to bother returning. I should have bought the product with a case included in a complete kit. Tried to save a few dollars and got burned by buying the suggested add-on case.

As a handyman, I really appreciate a good tool and this one is a gift from god as far as finding the right breaker when you don’t have a helper with you. You find that breaker in no time , so you can do the repairs safely and easily.

It is a good tool have already used it twice.
