Loved the price and quality of product

Although these are getting glowing reviews, I regard them as a value caster. Most of the build is typical mass-market. Stamped steel. Integrated raceways with loose bearings. Bearings open to the environment. Theres a slight tilt to the races. Im unsure whether thats intentional or not, as its consistent between casters. In any event, it doesnt seem to affect functionality at all. The issue I have with these casters is that they dont lock the swivel up solidly. They use a coarse-toothed, wheel shaped stamping for the lock, and it leaves a bit of play. The bearings are loose enough to add a bit of their own additional play. The POINT of double locking casters is to avoid that play! Granted, they wont actually swivel when locked, but youll still get a bit of wobble. Whether or not thats acceptable depends on the need. For critical use, look elsewhere. They will be OK for uses like carts. They will not be for my intended use. As a basic locking caster set, though, these are a good bet. The lock engages and disengages easily. The wheels seem to be good quality. A very complete set of install hardware is included, which is unusual. A good mid-grade caster at an excellent price.

why do we keep buying junk from China. as casters they are ok. but as with all things made in China they are poorly made. The brake drags against the wheel on 3 out of 4 casters. with a little grinding they do not drag and the brake still works. remove the wheel being careful not to loose the plastic spacer. grind off the 2 tits on the brake assy. re install the wheel and you are done. ( wheel bolt and nut are 9/16 (14mm))

Dust collector cart and a planer cart

I mounted these on a 3 x 3 worktable I was building for my garage. Very nice quality for the price. Plus, the included screws (which were stainless) saved me a trip to the hardware store. I will definitely buy these again for another project.

I am impressed. These are much sturdier than I imagined they would be and the locking mechinism is smooth and sure. Ive booked marked these to order again for future projects. Even came with extra mounting hardware.

For the money I doubt you will find a nicer set of wheels! These casters roll really nicely, the locks are easy to use, and they come with two different kinds of mounting hardware to boot! I read the reviews on other comparable sets like these and a consistent complaint was the needs to replace included mounting screws that were not heavy duty enough. Well the hardware included here you probably wont need to replace. If youre looking for quality at this price point, you found it. I will certainly buy again if the need arises.
