i have a 10 port switch for a work/gaming station that happens to also be very internet heavy. due to the need for my PCs and gaming systems to access data on my localized NAS, i need decent bandwidth to be able to gain speeds that are reasonable. However, this set of cables gets speeds closer to 500-ish megabit, meaning i can cap only at about 60 mbps on any device. my switch has been working at 10 gigabit for years now, so it has to be the cables. After all, they are cheap, unprotected, and in a bundle. all signs to this being as advertised was unlikely anyways. IF YOU NEED A CHEAP SOLUTION TO GETTING HIGH BANDWIDTH FOR MULTIPLE SYSTEMS, GO WITH SHEILDED CAT 6 OR CAT 7. that aside, i still believe that the set is a good cheap alternative for anyone to buy who needs cheap, temporary ethernet solutions that will experience interruptions from time to time from other cables nearby.

Im not an ethernet cable expert but these worked well for what I wanted. Wanted something to staple along the baseboard of the wall so I can stop tripping over cables. I used one of those staples with the two nails on the side and the plastic piece in the middle so it doesnt damage the cable. Speed seems fine. I didnt test it because I dont know how to but for surfing the net, it works. I got this free in exchange for my unbiased review. GOOD

At first I was skeptical if these would truly give you cat6 speed without degradation but that is no worry. I cant believe these have not come out years ago. For those of you that need to carry cat6 cables in your tech bag these are the answer. You cant put normal cat6 10 footers in your laptop bag without a shoehorn. I carry 3 or 4 of these with no issues along with a couple of the 25. Dont wait any longer, order yours today!
