This is the first time Ive ever purchased bank line so I dont know if I got a stiff batch or its just the way this stuff is. Great strength-to-weight ratio and holds knots really well. But jeez this stuff is stiff. Almost like wire. I have to work it back and forth and roll it around in my hands a lot to loosen it up in order to barely be able to work with it. The good news is that it doesnt smell much, the tar doesnt get on my hands, and its evenly coated throughout.

Everyone should have some of this in their outdoor adventures? Strong, weatherproof. Once you tie a knot you are not going to be able to untie it. Awesome, secure. One for camping, one for garage?

Question....What is the first step in even unraveling the twine?

Great stuff, but like the title says, it can be had at wally world for 3.99. Same type in 1/4lb spool Felt a little ripped off having paid $9.99 for it here. Maybe they priced it thinking it was a 1/2lb spool

This braided tarred cord is great for bushcraft, everyday usage, and for special projects. It is strong and evenly coated. It does not fray once you burn the ends after cutting the amount you need to use. I used it to tie down some newly planted trees and when I was trimming with the weed eater I hit the cord and it did not break the line. I was impressed with its durability. I would recommend that you have some in your home, vehicle, and bag for all occasions.

Great stuff strong and doesnt get things all goopy or leave tar marks. Best item to keep in your bugout bag or emergency kit.
