17-11-2024These embroidery hoops are well made, sturdy and affordable. They are great for small silkscreen projects.

Greater than one weekI have purchased hoops multiple times and have never had this happen but this entire batch popped at the metal tightener on each hoop after it was secured. Some waited a few weeks but all eventually popped and broke so everything I did had to be tossed.

> 3 dayI cross stitched 3-inch stained-glass ornaments (double-sided) from a magazine I got for Christmas from my sister-in-law who knows how cross stich crazy I am. I ordered these to frame them for hanging on the tree. I used fabric glue to hold the fabric pieces together, then put the outer ring on with some red and white cording, so beautiful. I even used the leftover hoops to hold canvas for smaller ornament patterns, they worked great.

16-11-2024These little hoops are perfect for the small embroideries Im making for a craft show this month. They were easy to use and the screws were a good quality. Some people said removing the blue scratch- prevention cello was difficult, but with a PR of tweezers it pulled right off. You can add a little bow tacked on at the top...and tie a little ribbon or string on top to hang it by. They would make nice Christmas Tree ornaments.

> 3 dayWhile I had to remove a few splinters, they were still good hoops.

> 3 dayI found no defects in the hoops I received. The bamboo is smooth and requires no work before I turn these into Christmas ornaments. I would buy again!

> 3 dayDid not like the extra bolt on the end of the screw. Made it very hard to tighten while holding the fabric in place.

> 3 dayI didnt get any unusable ones in the pack. On the last one, the inner hoop was a little out of round, but once the outer hoop was tightened over it, it looked fine and held the fabric. Here and there you can find a small fiber sticking up from the bamboo, which is easily removed. No problems with the screws.

> 3 dayThey feel a little frail and not the sturdiest, but you get 12 pieces! So I think its worth the price! If you want to make little gifts for friends or even sell embroidery pieces Id recommend these only cause theyre affordable and you get a good amount!

> 3 dayI bought these to wrap in ribbon/washi tape for decorative framing of finished pieces. The quality is not great, some were splintering upon opening the package. Some dont want to tighten enough - they wouldnt work well for actually embroidering in. I think they are significantly overpriced for the quality, and would not purchase them again. I think theyll work well enough for my purposes, since I will be covering the wood with fabric or tape, but I wouldnt recommend them.
