Greater than one weekLots of colors. The thread is good quality and it came with everything listed. Perfect for beginners.

> 3 dayI used to do freehand embroidery years ago and felt the need for a soothing hobby so I bought this kit to set me up. I like the really wide range of colors, the range of needles, and the many odds and ends it comes with (needle threaders! those are much more critical now than when I was 14!) The only negative: it came with scissors, but theyre not very good. I actually had thread scissors in the house, though, so thats not a major issue for me.

> 3 dayI started my first embroidery project with a small hoop and a few skeins of DMC floss I bought at a craft store. I loved it so I bought this kit to prevent a bunch of trips to the store. It comes with a lot of stuff, more than youd really need for embroidery but there are some good general tools to have. Unfortunately the quality is not up to par. I was not able to get the hoops as tight as the one I bought at the craft store. There is a big variety of floss, but its not as nice as DMC. I was able to thread my needle with the DMC floss without much problem but it was almost impossible to thread the floss from this kit without a needle threader. One of the needle threaders broke within a few hours of stitching. The floss in this kit is much less slick and got caught on rough spots on my fingers regularly. I found myself reusing the same colors of DMC thread I had for other projects because its so much easier to work with. I might try using the wax that was included in the kit but unfortunately it looks like Ill be making another trip to the craft store before my next big project.

02-06-2025I love this kit!!! It has everything you need for a beginner. The only thing I would say is buy cloth along with it. I also brought backing paper, it was easier for me to use due to the fact that these have little holes in it making it harder to do circular things

> 3 daySuper excited to start embroidery but the type of material it came with wasn’t really ideal in my opinion. For me, all the needles were the same size. Other than that everything was good!

> 3 dayThis was a good set for a beginner- if you plan on organizing the floss, there are not equal spools and flosses, you may want to buy extra spools. Otherwise everything was nice!

> 3 daySeems like everything is decent quality. The biggest issue is that the string has color codes for DMC but when compared to the same color code of an actual DMC brand thread, the color is way off, so they do not actually match DMC colors.

> 3 dayIt did not come with 100 threads.. But worth the price
