> 24 hourWhen I had a 3d printer malfuntion, I ended up with a huge mess on the printer nozzle, forcing me to look for a solution. Dreading the thought of finding a way to fix it, I came across these silicone nozzle covers and they are much cleaner and easier to install/remove.

> 24 hourThese silicone socks are great. I have one installed on my CR-10s. I let my stock insulation get gross over time and finally switched to one of these socks. If I could do it again I would have put one of these on when the printer was new. The install is dead simple. It stays on and doesn’t move. Filament doesn’t stick to it and I have no temperature issues. I still have two extra. Guess that means I need two more printers!

> 24 hourMarlin firmware has safety features that detect thermal runaway, but if your print cooling fan hits your heater block, it can cause a spurious trip (PID tuning is another part of fixing this problem)... the block cover helps with this issue, as well as keeping the thermister bead and heater cartridge better captured in the block (although no substitute for a solid connection!)
