They must be kidding. If you want to consider 24awg worthy of 5 amps then is it, but it is definitely NOT 18awg

Disliked the fact that the wiring is ASA 20 gauge, not ASA 18 gauge. I would not buy this connector again to carry 12V power.

Used only one out of the bunch to replace a loose camera connector. Instant fix. Will another one of these if another camera becomes too much of a problem.

10 pairs for 10 buck! You get what you pay for! I bought these so everything would be plug and play as my project has to be able to be taken apart to be moved from place to place. After laying out my project and test fitting everything to make sure all worked as it should I started to solder all my wires to gather and put heat shrink on all my solder joints and got everything set up for my first test when I plugged in my power supply a 12 volt battery nothing worked! When I checked one plug it was getting hot! Replaced it with another one and same thing. Turns out they ALL have internal power to ground shorts.

It is what its described.

Not the heaviest wire in the world, but that was a plus for my application (5V @ 0.5A). Tinned with what appears to be rather stiff lead-free solder, so I tin them again with 60/40 before soldering. Like the length and the moulding, no problems so far, great purchase.

returned these awful connectors - bad quality, bad description, great return process do not order these unless you want cheap, thin-gauge wire connectors - these are not quality i didnt really care about the flush fit, but comparing these to similar connectors on my workbench, these are definitely low quality, constructed with no-name, non-printed gauge wire do not risk your equipment with these connectors!
