I may have just received a bad spool, but the thread was not one long piece. Every time I started sewing I would go about 6” and that would be the end of a piece. I rethreaded my machine and started again. After about the 6th time I pulled the spool out and started unwinding it. The thread keep coming off in pieces. I threw the spool out. I bought a different color of thread at the same time and that spool is fine.

This thread is just what I was looking for!

This is more of a tomato red. Color in picture is misleading.

The thread is ok I guess. I wasnt happy when the thread broke while I was in the middle of a project! But it only happened once so I guess it wasnt all that bad.

I needed a certain color of Gutermann thread. I searched for the thread by its name and number. It brought me to Amazon. I needed it quickly and Amazon delivered.

Obviously the description is wrong. This is a great all purpose thread... However! Buyer be advised that no where does the description tell you that this is the 247 yard spool and not the 547 yard. Very disappointed in this not really small detail.
