> 3 dayThe cream is really good and does its job well, but while the pump seems to operate correctly it does not pump out the cream. I like the thickness of the cream but it seems to be too thick for the pump to be able to do its job. I dont like having to open the jar and scoop out what I want. Guess maybe remove the pump and use a spoon??? Perhaps its just that I got one that is defective? I WANT TO CHANGE MY REVIEW about the pump. I was able to make it work correctly by holding the stem of the pump with plyers and turn the top of the pump while holding the stem still so it wouldnt turn. Now it works correctly but that shouldnt have been necessary so I think I may have been correct in thinking the one I got must have been defective or stuck, and holding it that way was able to get the top to work correctly, and it continues to work correctly.

Greater than one weekThis Cerave is recommended by our daughter’s dermatologist. And it does a fantastic job of moisturizing dry skin. It’s the savior of dry skin, under attack by pollution, the sun, relentless cosmetics and said removal thereof, and acne preparations. The first tub (it’s too large for me to call it a “jar” lasted for many months. And even though our daughter had a small spatula to cleanly remove the Cerave for use two or more times a day, as a father and Pharmacist I don’t approve of repeated openings, over time, of a tub of cream. Gosh, besides lint and hair, there can be bacteria floating in the bathroom air that can settle into the tub of cream. When it came time for buying a new tub of Cerave, doesn’t our daughter find this great deal on a tub Cerave: with a dispensing pump! Total satisfaction achieved! Just one more hint: don’t wipe the cream from the spout of the dispenser; pump it onto your fingers or palm. And every so often remove the pump, wash in warm soapy water, pump it out and then reinsert into the tub. Hey, it’s their/our faces/hands/other important parts!

> 3 dayI think this is a great product for a great price. Usually I would buy the two pack from Costco but it was $30, but after I found this great deal I’m never going back. Not to mention, it lasts forever!

> 3 dayFirst off, the pump aspect is AMAZING. Thank you, CeraVe! I started Accutane (Absorica) one week ago and I needed a moisturizer to begin counteracting my facial dryness. I only began using it last night but I think it is a Godsend. I mixed it with jojoba oil (Viva brand) and felt immediate relief after applying it. Its not greasy AT ALL and absorbs pretty quickly. I was planning to just use it for nighttime, but I decided to use it this morning as well since it provides a matte finish (which is great for my oily skin).

> 3 dayThis shipped from Sams Club, and upon first receiving it, the pump sounded like it had loose parts and the lotion wouldnt pump. I started for a replacement, and received a new package after the return, but it was THE SAME PRODUCT and THE SAME PACKAGING. I know because I marked it, since Ive been scammed before. I guess they worked on it, or maybe replaced the pump? Im not sure, but it works now. Just a little annoying to go through that whole process just to receive the same product.

> 3 dayThis is my miracle cream. I am older and my skin is thin with dry tendencies. CeraVe keeps my skin moist, reduces itchiness, and has no oily residue. I can add my therapeutic grade essential oils to create scents that I love. When a family member had to wear a cast for two months her skin was a mess after the cast was removed. I told her about CeraVe and, no exaggeration, she put it on at night before bed and the next morning her skin was 75% improved. She was astonished and is now as avid a user as I am.

> 3 dayEvery winter I develop cracked finger tips no matter how often I use CereVe on my hands, which is year round. I spent many long years as a nurse and and more specifically a burn nurse where I washed my hands constantly. I’m sure there are many out there with same problem. This is the only thing outside of very expensive prescription only burn treatment lotion that really works for me. If you buy one with the pump keep the pump lid for future purchases without the pump, which is $3-4 dollars cheaper.
