> 24 hourThese filter media balls are designed to have maximum surface area. I threw them into the return pump area of my sump on my reef tank. Within 24 hours, pods were crawling all over the balls. A week later, my water is looking extra polished and my nightly pod swarms have gotten thicker. Macro algae and corraline algae have taken up residence quickly on these media balls. I used to only have live rock chunks around my returns but after putting these on top of the live rock in my return area, I have increased the filtration provided by that section many times over. I highly recommend these! I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

> 24 hourI cant say a single thing bad about this. It would take me hours to type everything about this so Im just going to give it 5 stars. Great for sumps and all other filter types!

> 24 hourI don’t know if i got a different product or I’m just unlucky. The MP balls that I bought made the water on my biocube super cloudy, and I did clean them properly before introducing in the aquarium.

> 24 hourThis biological media breaks down very easily. The media sheds drastically as you rinse it. If you squeeze it hard enough, pieces will break off. I recommend that you look into other biological media brands, such as BioHome, Eheim, and Fluval. I hope Marine Pure comes out with a better product, soon. Until then, this product gets one star.
