We have had this model for our opener for many years and enjoyed having it. Recently it was damaged while repairs were being made to the siding on our home. I found this and am happy to say it’s the official Chamberlain model and works great!

The instructions for programming these with my new 2022 model Chamberlain garage door openers did not work correctly. My current keypads were worn out after almost fifteen years. The new openers did not come with keypads like my last ones did. I followed the instructions in the package and they would not pair. I tried three times. Inside the lid of the keypad there are two ways to program it. I tried the simpler way and it didn’t work. I ended up doing a combination of the two methods and they finally worked. I really think it’s sad that Chamberlain keypads do not simply connect to Chamberlain openers. Maybe that’s why they were not included with the openers. The other thing I didn’t like was the ability to code the keypad. My old ones used up to a five digit code. These new ones limit you to four digits. I do like that the cover is a bit longer than the older model. It keeps the actual keypad covered better.

This opener really has all the features you could ask for. They include all of the numbers from zero through nine. I am told that the combinations are infinite but I am just going to trust them on that statement. One of the best features is that the garage door will open after I punch in my code and hit enter, and then it will close after I hit the enter key the second time. Very effective.

Just got this yesterday (01/29), Opened the package and had it working in about 2 mins. Push the learn button on the garage opener (for me it was a yellow button on the back of the unit)...hold until the lights blink. Then take the key pad and put in a code of your liking (that you can remember, of course!) ... make sure and push the buttons with authority! and push the ENTER key. Now the opener blinks to confirm it learned the code from the keypad. Test it out...use your code and push enter...It should work as mine did. To mount - put in the top screw and leave it about 1/8 or so out from being flush. Then hang the key pad on the top screw and pull it down into place. Then remove the battery door at the bottom of the keypad and let the battery hang. Make sure the keypad is level and put in the bottom screw. Put the battery back in and put the battery cover back on. Keep in mind the battery door is a tight fit and to remove it, you push in and then down. To put back on, insert the top clip of the bat door in the slot (not all the way) then flush it out on the bottom corners and push up to fully clip it in. Mine was kind of a pain in the ass, but not too bad. I really like the features of this unit and should have bought it earlier. My home builder has this option on his building specs for $150! This is a very easy do it yourself install so I am glad I decided to wait and do later. Good luck.

Ordered the used one, came in original packaging but the package was re taped shut. Other than that the remote looked brand new and didnt appear to have been used, worked as new.

Dont know why I didnt install one of these years ago. Programming was fairly simple once I figured out the color of the button on my garage door unit. Also, once I had programmed it I has to reprogram the remotes in both my vehicles- easy task.
