This product does exactly what I need it to do. I wanted a spare Nintendo GBA charger, especially one that was a USB so that I could plug it into my external power bank. However, when I first plugged the GBA side into my console, the plastic came off when I tried to pull it out of the port. I was able to put it back on, but that was alarming at first because I was worried I had broken it before I had even gotten to really use it. Its definitely not going to be as a great as an OEM charger, but it gets the job done and for the price, I cant complain too much.

If youre looking for a charger that works with your Gameboy SP that you can just plug into any power brick then get this. Ive had no issues with it so far.

Im so grateful, now my old gameboy works!! It didnt start charging right away. I had to unplug it and replug it about 100 times before the charging light would stay on but that was most likely because the gameboy had been dead for at least a decade. If your gameboy doesnt start charging right away I recommend trying the unplugging/replugging method and/or purchasing a replacement battery (found cheap here on amazon). Once youre all set this charger will work wonders!

Doesnt fit right, feels like the gameboy port is going to break its such a bad fit. First time I tried to remove the cord sheath slide off and the plug stayed. Also, IT DOESNT CHARGE the gameboy. Thought it was because I still had a bloated original battery but didnt work with the new one I got either.
