It charges, but it falls far short of OEM quality. If you care about having the highest quality GBA charger, look for an OEM one. This does what you need it to though.

Couldnt get this to charge at all the first few tries, but managed to figure it out afterwards. Does the job and I have no complaints. I dont experience any loud noise like some other reviewers have mentioned.

Works with the original DS and the GBA SP. No issues whatsoever. Plug fits snug. Prongs flip in and it comes with a velcro cable tie: perfect for storage and transport. Havent noticed any problems with heat or reliability. Would recommend.

This plug is a VERY snug fit into the DS charger port. The plastic part that plugs into the wall is very light, and feels super cheap. I dont expect this to last through many charges. But, these things are hard to find since the DS is so outdated.

Purchased an old Nintendo ds for my grandson but didn’t have a charge cord. Got this and it worked perfectly. No complaints at all!
