There has to be an occasional bad apple in the bunch. In one end the threads werent correct and I couldnt get my tip to thread on. Then when I tried to back it off it was stuck. Had to use pliers to get my tip off which created a flat spot on the tip. The tip is still usable as there is no rough spot to catch the yarn. Im not sure how to check for this in the future . I still like my ChiaoGoo tips and cables and will continue to use them.

When I first became a knitter I delved into the land of hats and always ended up having to buy a set of circulars and double pointed needles for each project. Very quickly I learned about interchangables and even quicker was pointed to ChiaoGoo. Double pointed needles were a thing of the past, hello magic loop you are a lifesaver for my wallet and my mind. The downside, the ChiaGoo set usually only comes with one 22 cable and since I like to have multiple projects cast on I realized quickly I would need another since this is the perfect cable length for magic loop for hats. This cable is exactly the same as the one provided in the set and, obviously, works just as great.

Ich benötige weitere Seile für das Red Lace Small System von Chiaogoo, denn mit den dreien, die im Originalset dabei sind, komme ich bei nahtlos gestrickten Pullovern oder Jacken nicht recht weit. Wann immer ich Maschen stilllege, ziehe ich sie auf ein Chiaogoo-Seil und drehe die weißen Enden darauf. So können keine Maschen herunterfallen. Ich finde dieses System genial! Dieses Seil mit 55 cm Länge benutze ich am meisten. Manchmal schraube ich auch zwei Seile aneinander, um zum Beispiel sehr oversized stricken zu können. Ich stehe im Moment total auf japanische Designer. Da hat ein Body schon mal 500 Maschen - mit zwei verbundenen Seilen kein Problem. Stricken war noch nie so komfortabel.

I have several different lengths of the ChiaoGoo cables and all of the knitting needle tips. I also have a wooden knitting needle set of cables and cords made by a different company.

This is a set of interchangeable knitting needles with the legendary red lace cord. I wouldn’t trade them for any other brand.
