ChiaoGoo Knitting Needle, Red, Size-US-1-(2.25mm)

I got these to knit my first pair of socks and they are fantastic. Super sturdy, lightweight, and very evenly made. I do think one of them may have the tiniest little snag on the tip, I may have to file it at some point but it hasnt caused any issues yet.

Loved the ChiaoGoo circular needles, so gave the 6 double point version a try for knitting socks. Very pleased and highly recommend!

The needles are very good quality and perfect for knitting socks. Like every ChaioGoo needle I’ve owned, excellent quality, unfortunately, it took the seller over a month to even get them into the mail and only did so after I wrote to customer service.

I have replaced my Knitpicks wooden DPN with these, because the others broke too easily in small sizes. I find these smooth and quality, but recently bought a 9” circular needle, and after some adjustment, prefer this for socks for the reduction in dropped stitches, faster knitting. I am sure I will need both at times. The metal needles are smoother, and therefore may drop stitches more easily. The other issue I found is that the dark wooden needles made it harder to see dark yarns, so the silver worked better to see the stitches in those situations.

One of the tips on the needles is super pointy and sharp. As I work with it I have to make sure I don’t lead off with the sharp end, which slows me up a bit. I actually purchased two sets, and the other set is fine. Not worth sending back. I may need to see if I can smooth it out.

These needles are great quality! They are light but arent plastic-y and they dont feel cheap or anything. They dont scratch and mine havent bent at all. I used them to make my first ever pair of socks :) Would recommend

They are super tiny which is exactly what I wanted.

I knit a lot of socks and these are my favorite double points. The metal finish is really smooth (and doesnt wear off like the Susan Bates metal needles) and they dont bend easily at all.
