Quality needles and great value, no tangling or snagging and work great with sleeves instead of double point needles.

I just used these yesterday for a baby hat, so smooth and tapered! Just a joy to use and a beauty to look at.

Im currently making various newborn woolies to use with cloth diapers. Im practiced with both DPNs and using two circulars at once. I wanted to try short circs to see if it makes things quicker. Its definitely faster than two circulars (and probably Magic Loop, though thats not my thing). No fiddling around with where the stitches are. I cant say its superior to DPNs, but at least I can keep my brain in low gear and not have to do math to figure out how many stitches I need on a needle. There *is* a bit of hand pain sometimes using these, but Im fairly sure Id have that problem with any brand. Theyre not fiddly to use like the very short 9 circulars are, even with my big hands.

until i know why, this will be a 1 star. these have a raised area - like a speed bump on each of the needles. the other pair and every other pair i have do NOT have this. IS THIS OLD STOCK? is this to keep stitches on the coil? if someone can explain why this is, i may change my rating. right now. i am baffled. thanks for any explanation that i can understand it better.
