ChiaoGoo Red Circular 16 inch (41cm) Stainless Steel Knitting Needle Size US 6 (4mm) 6016-6

Im awful at writing reviews, but I love this set of needles so much I thought Id give it a try. Im normally a knit pick girl. I like the feel of wood, but recently in a freak netflix and chill accident I snapped one of my 4.5mm needles. I got online and looked at reviews and saw all these people saying this was the most amazing set EVER. I was skeptical, how good can they really be? Theyre metal. And bent. And what the what. But let me tell you. The bend to the needle itself makes them deceptively flexible. I got all the way to the k1k2t part of the crown of a baby hat before having to change them over to double sided needles - something none of my other fancy pants sets can do. Even better than that the bend is supposed to help with hand fatigue, and my still tired but not as tired hands feel a definite difference.. That red chord.... oh my. I had decided that was just a gimmick, because really how much better can a no memory chord be? Way better. Like Bacon on your burger better. Didnt know I needed that in my life but now cant live without it better. Ive had my first set for three days, and Ive already completed two projects, AND THEN I ordered myself my second most used size. It was like finding out how great a kitchen aid mixer is after stirring by hand for two years. My stitches are faster, more uniform, and they glide off that needle onto the next. Order them, you wont be sorry.

I love all the ChiaoGoo needles. Cords that wont kink and nice sharp points on the needles. I wouldnt use anything else!

Smooth joins, flexible cable, points are great for lace knitting. These needles are my new favorites.

Theyre perfect. They let the yarn slide on the needle very easily, and the join between the needle and the cable is almost seamless. The cable doesnt kink up the way others do and I love that its memory free and very sturdy. Theyre the best needles Ive used so far and Ive been knitting for several years and used lots of other supposedly good needles. Highly recommend.

I bought these needles to replace some wooden Lantern Moon needles. The needles have a slight bend in them which makes the circle easier to handle. I started with my Addi Clicks but the needles were so long that it felt really awkward. I switched to the Lantern Moon which are lovely to look at but the join between the needle and the cord was terrible. None of the stitches would slip so it slowed me down. The ChiaoGoo are everything I want in a circular needle. The tips are just a bit blunt so they dont split the yarn. The needles have a slight bend so the resulting circle feels very natural. The stitches slip right over the join between the needle and the cord. I highly recommend these needles.

I’ve had many ChiaoGoo needles in the past but didn’t realize this one is just “Red” and has a down part at the end of the needle instead of straight like the “Lace” style.
