The sound of these needles in use was absolutely unbearable to me. It is a scraping, semi-squealing sound and is as excruciating to the ears, and as teeth clenching, as nails on a chalkboard. Though I had read other reviews mentioning the weird sound, I was totally unprepared by my visceral reaction to it. Unfortunate, as the tips were indeed sharp, and perfect for lace knitting.

I love the fact that the cord stays so nice and tangle free. Also very nice for increases and deaconesses. Pointed enough to get into intricate spaces. Best circular needles I have ever used.

This system is a dream to knit with. The cord is so flexible, it makes knitting a breeze. There is no bunching or twisting. I hope they market interchangeable cables. I’d be more than happy to replace my other ones.

Chaiogoo knitting needles are the Rolls Royce of needles. I have been knitting over 50 years and these are a pleasure to use. Light weight and smooth joins so the yarn slips easily and makes the project a joy.

Absolutely brilliant, especially the cord, which does not tangle and twist, really great for magic loop knitting method for 2 at a time socks and mittens, will definitely buy more sizes and lengths!

I havent tried Hiya Hiya needles, but I have tried Addi and down the chain. If you want a cable with no memory (Addi still holds a curl), a smooth join that wont pull or tug and your finer fibers (Knitters Pride Dreamz) and slips like Teflon... These are your needles! I cant talk these up enough!
