ChiaoGoo Twist Shorties Stainless Steel Interchangeable Set, 2-inch and 3-inch (5 and 8cm) Small (7230-S)

I bought this set to use instead of magic loop and dpns. I know they will take some getting used to, but so far loving them I am doing this review mainly because there was another reviewer who stated that this set was counterfeit. That had me worried because the price was so much better, so I looked up on the Chiaigoo site where they talk about counterfeits and can see clearly that these are genuine.

I know how to do magic loop but I dont love it. But my standard 12 was too big for my socks and my 9 was uncomfortable with the length of the needles. These work so well, I might just use them for everything. Knitting the sleeves on a sweater has never been easier.

This set completes my ChiaoGoo Twist collection. I really love these needles and can now rock out sleeves as fast as socks on my 9 minis. I do wish they were red to match all my other sets... but I get why they made them different - the cables are more flexible than the red ones of the same thickness - which is needed when you are working this short.

In my opinion, chiaogoo are the best circular needles money can buy.

Size is great for travel. Really happy with them

Love these so much I am getting the yellow set (larger needles). I use DPNs pretty well but find them to be too long for small projects. I like these small circulars so much better. I have had to use DPNs with them to close up a hat or socks, but the knitting is much less fiddly than with the DPNs and goes faster. I have had to tighten them while knitting but its not a big deal, I just keep an eye on them. The tightening keys really help to reduce the need to do this. I think it depends on how much pressure I am putting on the needles with my stitch patterns.

I was surprised by these little guys! They are quite comfortable and easy to use. Such a tiny little zipper bag that holds the set - I can keep them in my handbag and be ready for a new project anytime. I also have the red set that’s for smaller sizes, so I am well armed! I consider them a good value.
