Greater than one weekTried many brands of combs. My doodle hates to be combed or brushed, but loves this comb.

> 3 dayWe use the comb for our long-haired Havanese. Brushing alone is not sufficient for our dog, so between visits to the groomer we must a comb him every 3-4 days to keep his hair mat-free and beautiful. The comb is VERY sturdy, very good quality. It is definitely a professional grade grooming tool. Having two halves with differently spaced tines is super handy and saves time. I simply flip the comb around instead of having to reach for a different comb every time the hair condition on a particular spot requires it. This comb may be pricey, but it is money well spent and worth every penny.

> 3 dayIt took some getting used to - both me and my Maltese, but once we mastered the different feel (over a brush), I can tell this comb works much better. You can actually get down to the skin through the hair to ensure all the dirt and debris are being combed out, plus the edges of the comb are not as prickly/sharp as the pin brush I was using. Hes also fluffier after combing. It has made our nightly grooming sessions much more comfortable! Wish I had purchased it sooner

> 3 dayHaving 2 sizes on one small comb is perfect for the head and face of our small breed puppy. Not sharp at all so I can get close to eyes and remove hard crud. Doesnt bother puppy when I use it.

> 3 dayReally superior for dense coat grooming. Great for grooming our dense curly coated poodle! And very gentle if done right. Watch the videos on youtube!

> 3 dayYup, I spent more on a comb for my kitter than Ive ever spent on any of my own hair products. She is the fluffiest, prettiest creature youll ever see. This comb keep her tangle-free and show-ready. Weve had cheaper combs, but they truly dont compare. This comb slides through her fluff like butter. This was a worthy investment.

> 3 dayThis really works well for combing the facial hair of my Maltese puppy. I don’t know why..it looks similar to other comb but really works well. Someone else recommended this to me. And it works great. Just a bit pricy.

> 3 dayHonestly, I think it is absolutely overpriced to pay $32 for a stainless steel comb originally. But, it is highly recommended by the Havanese forum. So, I decided to skip Starbucks a few days and bought one for my pup. I find myself use this comb a few times a day on my pup as I want him to get used to be handled. After one week, he will lay on the bed contently while I comb thru his matted hairs. Then, my friend told me about Andis Pet Steel Grooming Comb which is 1/4 of this price. I bought one immediately and later decided to return the Andis. The quality of Andis is no comparison to this Chris Christensen comb. Andis comb feels sharp and I am afraid to use it on my pup. I use this CC comb on my pup all over. I just the coarse side to comb his body and legs. The fine comb side for his face and neck. I truly LOVE this comb and it will last a lifetime. Its one of my favorite purchases thus far. If you are considering this vs. Andis, you should buy CC and you will not regret it.
