Christmas with the Kranks

Funny movie, nice pace and good cast. Not quite a Christmas classic, but a good movie to watch at the holiday season.

Quick Synopsis For the first time, Luther (Tim Allen) and Nora’s (Jamie Lee Curtis) daughter, Blair (Julie Gonzalo) was not going to be spending Christmas with the family. Luther decides to book an expensive cruise for Christmas; the only catch was he and his wife had to commit to a total boycott of the holiday season. This really disturbed the seemingly Christmas obsessed community and some neighbors took it a lot harder than others. After nearly making through the holiday, of course Blair calls on Christmas eve and decides to surprise her parents by flying in. Will the Kranks be able to pull off a miracle Christmas for Blair? Will the neighbors forgive the Kranks for their lack of holiday enthusiasm? I guess you’ll have to watch and see = ) Opinion I think this is one of those movies where a lot of people don’t appreciate it the first time they watch it. I know I didn’t love this movie when I first seen it. I happened to catch it on TV the following year and I couldn’t change the channel. I have watched this movie several times now and I grow fonder of it every time. Yes, it’s a goofy / silly / and over-the-top Christmas movie but it’s also cleaver and meaningful at its core. Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen are the perfect duo and they really make this movie shine. Also, I am not a big Dan Aykroyd fan but I loved him in this movie. Thanks for reading my review. Funny christmas family movie for all ages

In the 1st 15 minutes, I wanted to go hide but Dan Akroyd showed up and then I knew it was going to get better. And, it did. Once the hijinks became sufficiently absurd, it was more enjoyable. And, it is an absurd plot. The carolers made the movie for me.

Was fitting for my taste and I enjoyed the movie. My kind of humor.

Laughing, crying, vomiting, it does it all for you.

Overacting on Jamie Curtis part as a mother of grown daughter away from home. Tim Allen plays the father & wants to go forego Xmas & go to the Caribbean since their daughter isnt coming home for the holidays.

Christmas with the Kranks is one of, if not THE funniest Christmas movie ever made! Tim Allen & Jamie Lee Curtis are absolutely halarious in this adaptation of John Grishams best-selling novel, Skipping Christmas. A MUST SEE! Youll want to add this one to your Christmas collection! Youll laugh so hard that youll cry its SO FUNNY! A MUST SEE!

This is a hilarious Christmas movie. Always a fun watch!

The bluray is much clearer picture and perfect sound. But they forgot to add the special features which I hate. No bloopers nothing but the trailers of the movie. Movie came in on time and had no delivery issues. Overall one of my favorite Christmas films.
