Greater than one weekAlmost 5 yr old boy loves it, but always thinks he should win. Good practice for losing gracefully.

> 3 dayThis game has been around forever and is a wonderful little first board game for the preschooler! I am a firm believer in the power of family game night and this has been a favorite in my household since my children were small. Its also a great way to help develop social skills, learning to take turns, eye hand coordination and manual dexterity!

> 3 dayThis one is really hard for my 3 year old for a few reasons: 1) numbers are 1-100 but she can only count to 20-something 2) lots of squares in a back and forth pattern. There are tiny arrows showing you where to go but it’s easy to get turned around. I have to tell my daughter where to go throughout the whole game. This is the only board game she needs to be told where to move her pieces. 3) the chutes and ladders are all over the board. While cute, it’s hard to tell where they start and stop. Overall, the board is just too crowded and confusing. Maybe it’s better for 4 and up but I won’t know that for another year.

Greater than one weekStores only sold the little, foldable, put together boards. Cheap. Good old fashioned board game just like I had.

> 3 dayThe newer games have so many different designs and pictures it causes more challenges for the students learning and it becomes confusing - sticking to the classic games
