This is the first label printer I have ever bought that came with more than 12 labels. This printer ships with a legit roll of labels. I don’t know how many are on there but there has to be at least 200, probably more. I’ve bought a couple of shipping label printers. Both came with 4-6 labels. You barely had enough to test the software with. I guess that is that norm but I just have to say I was really impressed to get a usable supply of labels. I download the iOS version of the software. It seems to have quite a bit of power and flexibility. There seems to be a pretty wide range of tools in it. I primarily wanted it for simple text labels so I haven’t dug too deep into the software. I was able to quickly create and print a label with no frustrations. That isn’t always a given so kudos for that. I have not tried it with a PC as I try to avoid Windows any time I can. The software does not work with MacOS however it should be possible to use the iOS software on a MAC. I have not tried that because for my use, I don’t need it. It’s just a convenient to print the labels from phone and I can place the printer anywhere that way. I really only experienced a couple of issues with the printer that I think could be easily improved. When using a label that is less than full width like the ones supplied with the printer, You have to center the label in the machine. Other printers that I have used, had a paper guide that automatically centered the label in the printer. This printer does not have one of those. I manually moved the label from side to side to get the printer centered up on the label. The more often you want to change labels, the more of a problem this might become. The other annoyance is the fact that every time it is turned on, it advances one label. It is frustrating to waste a label every time you turn it on. It burns through 2 labels every time you open the lid and close it. It’s a shame they missed these details because otherwise it seems like a solid printer.

I picked this up as sort of a portable printer vs the ideal of a basic label printer so I could print things on the go, oddly things like QRC images or even just small labels that go beyond the normal stripe printing labels a basic label marker would do. I did some research first and found that portable label makers (printer really if you ask me) run at a rather expensive level so I just never bothered until I found this and thought I’d give it a try. I am super impressed that for starters it actually loads a full size roll of paper tape which wasn’t typical I thought on more pocket size printers so this was a big plus. I was a bit concerned as there are no real controls built into this portable printer as you might fine in some higher end pocket printers but really the controls you do find on those are not of much value as the software really is where the configuration is done and with this printer a simple on/off switch is all it needs. Having never owned the more portable printers I can only say that the major difference I see is the the quality of the image it prints. For my use it does great but after some playing around with it and some more reading I believe other portable printers can tend to offer better resolution (DPI) than this one but for my needs this is great and the focus around the QRC needs I have are more than well meet with the quality of this printer. From a price perspective if you’ve been thinking about something like this but price was a deterrent I’d say this is a great entry printer and worth the money.

This is a very capable small desktop printer. While most of the thermal desktop printers for labels between roughly 1 and 2 are larger fancier machines with automatic cutters and are more costly, Klabel has taken the approach of mimicking pocket printers but with a desktop capacity. I unboxed this printer after having recently set up several pocket sized 2 capable printers. My first impression is that this is larger than those but considerably smaller than the desktop thermal label printers that I have and use on a regular basis. There are no controls on this printer other than an on/off switch and can connect to your computer by USB or to your IOS & Android device by Bluetooth. It has no battery storage so it must be plugged in. So this is a desktop printer only. If you port it anywhere, there must be an outlet. According to the product page it is not compatible with Apple computers. There is space within this printer for full rolls of appropriate width paper tape or labels. Setting up this thermal printer is very much like setting up any other one. I inserted the roll of labels which came with the printer (oriented to feed up from the bottom of the roll) plugged it in and then downloaded the software for my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra from the play store. The software found the printer, and thats all. In the software I told it which labels were loaded (40mmx30mm) and then designed a simple label. The software comes with several fonts, icons, font effects and templates. You can embed barcodes and QR codes. Its easy to use software that is more like a graphics program rather than a word processing program. Its intuitive. The funny thing for me though, is that all the templates were in Chinese. I then went though the installation for my computer which runs Windows 11 Pro and it was just as easy although for the desktop I had to install it using the USB cable provided. This printer is easy to set-up and use. It has one major advantage compared to the small portable printers. Unlike the smaller printers is that it uses full sized rolls of labels rather than the small rolls necessary for the pocket printers and that they dont necessarily need to be branded. Theyll use 3rd party labels/paper and thatll save you money in the long run. It has two major advantages compared to the larger branded label printers in its category. First, itll use the 3rd party labels and paper but secondly, it costs a fraction of the other printers price. Why does it cost less? My guess is that the print head seems to be, like the pocket variety, roughly 200 DPI whereas the more expensive are 300/600 DPI. Does that matter? Depends on what youre printing. For most things people print on these printers it doesnt. Bar codes and QR codes are perfectly well readable from either. For text you may notice a more refined print from the 300 DPI printers but the legibility is equally as good. For a label printer for my uses, I dont think it really matters.

Full disclosure - I received this product as a member of the Amazon VINES review program. The comments and opinions are based on my knowledge of similar products and experience using the product listed. This was my first foray into thermal printers. I needed a way to quickly print small labels for marking some items I had and after doing some research into using standard address sticky labels, decided that would be a method of last resort. Saw this little printer on Amazon VINES list and thought it appeared to be what I was looking for, so went for it. The printer arrived in a small box as it is quite small itself, only 4 wide x 5 long x 4.5 high. Besides the top slot where printed labels exit from the printer, there is a status light on the front, a FUNCTION button on top; and a power cable port, PC USB-C cable input port and ON/OFF switch on the rear. A very clean design. The printer supports Bluetooth connectivity through iOS and Android. My PC linked via Bluetooth to the printer but when I tried to download the Windows software, my virus software shut the door on the downloaded file so for now I figured I didnt want to go any further as the iOS application was working ok. Your mileage may vary if you want to use it on a PC. The printer comes preloaded with a roll of 40mm wide x 30mm long labels. These labels are white and print in black lettering. The printer is very quick once the label is sent from the iOS application. Now as to the iOS app. It isnt very elaborate, almost to the level of a test application for verifying hardware but it does work for now. And there is a HELP tab which explains a lot of the functionality. But all in all, it does print nice labels once you get the hang of the iOS app. I gave 4 stars due to the app useability.

The printer is good, the software was ok, but I used it as a printer. I recommend sticking to 50mm or smaller tape rolls as the guides, which are important for tracking, don’t fit if the roll is any wider. The “buyers who buy this also buy” recommendation were 2-1/8” (54mm) wide tape rolls and didn’t work out of box for me, you can physically fit it in by removing the guides but like I noted the reliability goes down considerably.

We wanted to get a replacement for our Brother TZ label maker that worked for so many years and finally died. We figured well go 21st century and get a USB/bluetooth printer. The printer arrived super fast - thanks Amazon Prime. The printer comes with AC power adapter, USB-A-C cable, a roll of 800 labels size 40mm x 30mm, and an instruction pamphlet. Setting up to print requires a smartphone app for bluetooth printing or Windows only software for USB printing. I learned this after emailing customer support to ask if there is Mac support because their website listed a Mac driver but no other software. They said the Mac is not supported so keep this in mind if you want to print labels from your computer. A little disappointing but not the end of the world because we are just using it to print individual labels. The iOS app works pretty well. Connecting via bluetooth is relatively easy once you install the app. I turned on the printer, opened the app, then clicked on the printer icon to select the printer. Once selected then you can design your label. I needed to make labels for some soap dispensers which is why you see the screenshot with SOAP 3 times to show the app. When initially setting up the printer be sure to carefully follow the instructions so the labels are positioned properly on the feeding spindle. Ive attached some pictures to show how the left spindle will have a stop to limit the wheel and the right side spindle should show numbers to have it properly positioned. This way the spool of labels will be positioned properly toward the left side of the printer for the proper left margin when using the smartphone app. The printer is pretty small so not sure if it can print any labels larger than 2 width. It looks like it could accommodate up to 2.25 but would need to test it. If so it could possibly print a very small shipping label. One other negative Ive found is that every time I turn on the printer it feeds ~20mm which is the height of the included label spool. I was not able to figure out how to go back so as not to waste a label. So keep in mind you may be wasting a label every time you turn on the printer. Overall it works but not quite as well as I was hoping. I wish it had Mac capability and could fit slightly wider prints to accommodate a shipping label. However it works for our intended purpose which is to print Brother TZ-type labels.

I found myself needing to keep track of some inventory and to label some tool cases. I decided to give this thermal label printer a try. Im no expert on label printers but I was able to hook up and get this labels printer working with no major issues. I was able to get my phone (Samsung) to link via app to it and print labels needed. Printer is small so requires little space. The labels load easily enough, just pull-out roller load desired label and place back in then grab end pull it slightly out shut door/lid. The case is pretty firm and looks & feels well made. There is not much to it, but it works fine and does what I need it to do. Not a bad way to go. FYI: Check to make sure it is compatible with what you plan on using it with.

I have a larger (full-size) label printer, which is usually set up to print full-size shipping labels. But it got very annoying to have to change labels and printer label-size configuration when I wanted to print smaller labels. Which is where this printer become useful. Set up with smaller stocking labels allow me to print what I need on separate printer queues with no reconfiguration needed. I have NO plans to use the printer with a phone (Android or iOS), I use it only with Windows. As usual, these label printers do not support Bluetooth with Windows, which did not really matter to me, as I had easy connection to USB. I cannot speak to the CLabel label software, since I would never build labels using the fairly simplistic software, I design my own and print labels from Illustrator, Word, or other software. Not the worlds best printer, but perfectly acceptable printer for stock labels and similar. It is quite a bit overpriced for what functionality it offers. My full-size label printer was cheaper, offers much more functionality (supporting much larger label sizes), and has better-quality printing.
