Greater than one weekThe sound quality is outstanding. The EQS746 is supposed to have better stats, particularly regarding THD, but this model sounds fine to me. The EQS755 has high level inputs as well as RCAs, which I like. If I could change anything, it would be the backlighting. Id like the option to change it to red, or at least dim the blue for night driving.

> 3 dayThis is as good as it gets. I really enjoy it and theres not a day where i dont reap the benefits. it produces great amplification, and superb control of the frequency spectrum. my only indifference with it is the mandatory low pass filter at 60 or 90 hz.. although you can boost 6 frequencies starting at 125 going through 16k it would still be nice not to have to cut everything above 90 hz. however i suppose with the crossover you can amplify the high frequencies exactly at whatever point youd like up to 200 or so... so not an ingenious idea on clarion’s part... just a bit redundant especially considering most aftermarket head units come with a low pass filter. besides that 1 knack it is a top tier audio product and better than most analog studio equalizers ive worked with.

> 3 dayExcellent sound quality and good control over subs. Only complaint is that it doesnt have any way to change LED color. I know that would be hard without a screen or software, but maybe offering this in more than one color would be nice. Also a little bright, but its otherwise such a good product that I still give it 5 stars.

Greater than one weekI had my first Clarion Cassette deck in 1979. Not a popular brand back then, but I loved it! The sound was true, and I thought it could compete with any of the Pioneer equipment back then. Not many people, especially the so called Audiophiles use EQs anymore, and everyone Ive had install systems for me always question my judgement and ask are you sure you want an equalizer? Not only am I sure, Im certain! Clarion is one of the few making an affordable yet kick-ass EQ. This newer model is not only less expensive that the previous, but it also has bass (sub) control right on the unit. So now I ask... do you want to mount a sub-controller on your dash for 40 bucks? Or would it make more sense to get TOTAL control over all of the frequencies for a few bucks more?
