Clear Acrylic Plexiglass Sheet - 1/4 Thick Cast - 12 x 24

The description advertised that the item is 1/4 inch thick and it is not, it is actually 13/64 inch.

Had this cut in two at the local hardware store for $1.50 and was was able to add 2 freezer shelves to a Whirlpool refrigerator. They charge $90 for each shelf.

I can see thru it and it’s the same size I ordered.

The size worked for my purposes so the slight decrease in size was okay. The panel was 1/8 shy of the advertised value, not surprising since thats the width of the blade. But it arrived without issue. I had to cut my piece with a table saw and it cut just fine. I also had to notch two corners, to reduce the strain at the corner I drilled a hole at the corner first. Then I took a torch to the edges to smooth them out and reduce the stress from cutting. Dont use a MAP torch, just propane and take the paper off first.

Simply stated ordered for some 1/4 plexy projects, the sheet delivered (early so kudos 3 stars) was 3/16 end of story.

I ordered 5 12”x24”x1/4” acrylic sheets but only received 2.

Made two gorgeous looking robots with laser cut parts from these sheets. Robust, easy to clean, and difficult to shatter.

1/4 thick replacement for a weathered safety window in my Track loader. Easy to cut and hole drill without cracking (Use the right drills).

Appears to be a very good quality plexiglass. The sizes, including width, listed in the description are nominal, because it measures less than 12“ x 24“ and just under 1/4 inch thick. So if the size is that important, know that this is the case. That’s why the loss of one star. I bought two of these, a few days apart, and the first one shipped quickly but the second one took a bit longer to get here.
