Clover 1042/D Orange Amour Crochet Hook, Size D, 3.25mm

Love this CLOVER 1042/D Crochet Hook. I use it all the time.

These crochet hooks are like butter. I have the entire clover amour set.

I had recently picked up crochet and amigurumi, and this was recommended as a good baseline hook. I started with cheap metal hooks that would snag the yarn, so the smooth, curved surfaces of this hook were refreshing. The thicker handle makes it comfortable to hold and maneuver. I juggle between this and another 2.5mm one depending on my needs, but this definitely is the more versatile workhorse - not too big or small.

Was expecting something magical. Not much different from my huge set I bought when starting to crochet. The hook still squeaked.
