Clover Amour Crochet Hook-Size I9/5.5mm -1048/I

Ive been crocheting for over 40 years, and I have always used Susan Bates hooks. Ive tried other hooks, but none worked for me like those. But Ive been wanting a change for working on large projects so I can switch off and give my arthritic hands a break. I have tried the cheap hooks that look exactly like the Clover hooks, and they split the yarn, the stitches slipped off the hook while working, etc. NOT so with the Clover hooks!! So dont waste your money thinking that because they look the same as the Clovers that they must work the same. They dont. The Clovers are SO nice to use.....smooth working, no splitting, and very comfortable. I will definitely be buying other sizes!

I have several of these crochet hooks & they are wonderful!! I can crochet for longer periods due to the soft handle. Try them. You won’t be sorry!

These are my favorite hooks. I was never picky about what type of hook I used and kind of thought people were snobby when they said theyd only use a certain type. Ha! Well now it feels difficult unless I use these! They are so smooth and dont get caught up in the yarn. Night and day from the regular hooks Ive been using. I have now switched over completely and crocheting is always a breeze.

The stocky handle allows me to crochet an hour longer than I could with the slim aluminum hook I always used. It feels nice in my hand and makes my craft painless.

Im relatively new to crochet, Ive been using a generic set of hooks from Hobby Lobby, and every time I saw someone mention Clover hooks they were raving about how great they are. I was always skeptical like its just a crochet hook and it looks very similar to the ones I have, how could it be THAT great? Well, it is, the short coated metal post and flat thumbprint grip make ALL the difference. Im a believer now, it glides through yarn like butter and Im able to move faster with the ergonomic design, just get one and youll see lol

This hook is great and I can use it comfortably for hours. They are a bit pricey so I am putting together a set one at a time.
