Clover Jumbo Wonder Clips 24 Count, Green

> 3 dayNot sure how I lived without these clips before! I purchased these jumbo clips at the same time as the regular size red Wonder Clips and find myself using both types on my sewing projects. The red clips come with a storage box but these green jumbo clips do not so you will need to have a storage bag or box for them as the zip bag is not useful while clipping things. I have a 2 pocket cloth tool belt (really cheap at any home improvement store) and put the 2 different types in the pockets. Keeps them at the ready! These jumbo clips are very useful for clipping multiple layers of fabric together when doing measurements and cuts. I was able to clip 8 layers of burlap together with room to spare. It is SO much faster than pinning (and does not draw blood when accidentally brushed against :) ). Additionally, I can save a bunch of time by using the measuring marks on the clips instead of tedious 1/4 or 1/2 inch measurements before pinning. The clips also make it easy to flip and turn fabric (in my case, large curtains) without disturbing where it is clipped. These are also so much better for the actual sewing with the machine as pins wind up stabbing me too often as I feed the fabric. However, the jumbo clips are only useful if you are hemming more than 3/4 inch due to clips nose clearance with the machines needle. I will alternate pins and clips when sewing less than 3/4 inch and remove the clips as I get close to them. They keep the fabric so much flatter and more even than pins! They also help when sewing a stretchy fabric like jersey as it keeps it in place better without stretching like pins are wont to do. Have used these clips over the past 3 months on many projects, and have never lost one due to a broken spring or plastic breakage. Great product!

> 3 dayNice and sturdy clips. Just wish they came in a case like the other smaller sizes. Happy that they aren’t made in China. Made in Japan. Reasonably priced. A great value for not being made in China. Made in the USA would have been better.

21-11-2024I am making a relaxed roman shade for a wide window. These are a life saver with preventing creep. Such an awesome solution. They seem to be well make, they are easy to use and wide enough to grab all layers, strong enough to keep the black out lining on the inside layer from creeping.

Greater than one weekI have these and the little ones. My mom got them first, she uses them for her sewing and such, I use them for quilting. A few weeks ago my teenage daughter was putting binding on a quilt she was making and she kept getting frustrated at my lack of other clips. I hadnt bought any of these yet, so I ordered some and there are plenty in one package for a quilt (depending on what size the clips/quilt are) and she no longer gets frustrated having to stop and align everything, clip, and so forth. Ive used them a few times myself and admit Im not sure how I lived without them before.

> 3 dayThese are great for larger projects! Easy to handle and will hold tight. Not too difficult to squeeze. These are too big for small projects but great for larger projects. They are a tool with the versatility for sewers, knitters and crafters who need to hold things in place while they work.

> 3 dayNow I have both sizes of the Wonder Clips & like both sizes, but I do think I like the smaller for holding the quilt binding as I sew the binding on. Crafters out there will find so many uses for these Jumbo sizes. I used my jumbo ones to hold stacks of fabric strips together since I needed to have so many different lengths of 1 1/2 inch strips. Worked very well to keep them separated & organized. If you are a fabric person & need to organize all those bits & pieces of material, these will work great.

> 3 dayTheres nothing worse than trying to free motion quilt while the quilt edges are hanging off the table. The jumbo sized clips work perfectly for keeping a quilt rolled up, making the quilt easier to handle, as I free motion quilt. I usually use my mid arm machine which has more space but these clips keep my quilts rolled up enough when using my sewing machine as well. I wouldnt recommend these for binding, however . . .both sizes are indispensable in my quilt studio.
