> 24 hourIve only used this a couple of times, but it seems pretty solid. The handle isnt as ergonimical as I would like, but it isnt uncomfortable if you are only using it for small segments. If youre ripping something completely apart, it would probably be a bit oncomfortable towards the end. Beyond that, it does what it needs to and I anticipate that it will last a while.

> 24 hourNot too often, a quilter may need to undo a few stitches, and these seam rippers make the job so much easier.

> 24 hourI have used this seam ripper four times already for making alterations to a leather jacket, repair to a pair of shoes (removing an annoying strap), adjustment to a leather bag and actual ripping out a seam in a blouse. The ripper blade is sharp and the handle is a lot nicer in my hands than the plastic ones I have. And sturdier. Having a good tool like this makes a big difference and also increases the chances of you making repairs.

> 24 hourNeeded a seam ripper to take off the “turtleneck” from my sweater. This did excellent job now I can wear my sweater as a crew neck instead.

> 24 hourIf you think all seam rippers are the same you need to order one of these. This thing is sharp and stays sharp. Wooden handle is a minor detail that is really much more comfortable compared to plastic. I know youre thinking a seam ripper is a seam ripper but give one of these a try. Its a really inexpensive add on item that is well worth the money.

> 24 hourI think this would easily get lost in ones hands, since its pretty small and inconsequential. Thats good for me, because it takes up very little room in my sewing kit. However, if you are arthritic or mobility-impaired, you might benefit from a beefier design. I dislike that the protective cap doesnt have a home -- you cant stick it on the opposite end like a marker, so you just have to set it down somewhere and hope you dont lose it. Otherwise, it is fast and sharp. This isnt the kind of tool you aspire to own, but it is more than sufficient to put in a starters kit.

> 24 hourI love this seam ripper! As a ballet costumer, I have a lot of alterations from season to season, so a good seam ripper is quite important. After using it many times over the past few months, it has stayed sharp. It fits well into a seam and is just sharp enough. Ive tried many other brands of seam rippers and this is by far my favorite. The only thing I would change is making the handle a brighter color, as it blends with the wood on my furniture.

> 24 hourI keep one of these in my sewing box, laundry room & bathroom to deal with multiple issues: ripping seams, removing tags, cleaning vacuum rollers (hair) and more. Like hard plastic cover on end (me no pokey self or anything in the same box). This is a very narrow pointy end so its MUCH better for removing tags than any other seam rippers I have bought. Highly recommend.

> 24 hourits only okay. not so pretty or comfortable to hold. but it is sharper than most. i dont mind paying more for a nicer one, since i use it alot. but this is a good deal.
