Clover Seam Ripper, 1 Pack, Red

Greater than one weekI bought a lot of these to put into sewing kits I give out because of the good reviews and the fact that it was made by Clover. The first time I used one I was upcycling the hardware on a leather bag and had to tear the seams on the thick straps which also had some heavy duty glue on them. It stood up to the task very well and I am more than satisfied. A little clean-up and it will be like new. Aesthetically I love the colour, plastic but with a wood effect - not usually my thing but somehow it works here. Good size too, neither too big to fit into a travel kit and not too small to be awkward to hold.

> 3 dayClover makes some great products. I really like this seam ripper because I have big hands and the handle makes it easy to hold onto. I have a Clover razor wheel I guess you call it for cutting leather that Id recommend as well. Cant beat Clover though, specially for the price.

> 3 dayIve only used this a couple of times, but it seems pretty solid. The handle isnt as ergonimical as I would like, but it isnt uncomfortable if you are only using it for small segments. If youre ripping something completely apart, it would probably be a bit oncomfortable towards the end. Beyond that, it does what it needs to and I anticipate that it will last a while.

> 3 day***** This little seam ripper is great! It is sturdy and handy and comes with its own hard plastic cover. Clover makes another model (the 502) that is not quite as nice; it has a bulkier handle and a soft plastic slipover cover, so I would pick this one for sure out of all of the ones Ive owned or found online. My best use of this handy little item is to rip out alterations Ive made to my clothes. You cant go wrong here! Highly recommended. *****

> 3 dayThis has always been my favorite seam ripper. The handle is comfortable, it doesnt feel cheap, and most importantly, its perfect for detail work. As you can see in the picture, the business end is smaller than that of a standard seam ripper. This allows it to get into smaller spaces easier than a standard seam ripper. Its sharp and reliable, and great for all types of seams, but when it comes to removing fine hand stitches and embroidery stitches, you cant beat the little brown handle from Clover.
