Greater than one weekMy wife sews almost every day. She is always making something or remaking another thing. When she lost her old seam ripper she needed another one so I got her this. She loves it and will not let my mother or her friends use it in fear that they wil lose it. After long hours of use it still seems to rip seams as it did on day one.

Greater than one weekVery nice, well designed. Looks similar to any seam ripper but handle is a little longer and easier to hold and it works like cutting through butter!

Greater than one weekI like the fact that this ripper has a nice large handle and nice sharp point. Because it is larger it is more comfortable to hold onto and I am less likely to lose it. I have lost a couple of smaller ones in the past. I have found that this ripper works perfectly for ripping general sewing projects with a regular sized stitch length, say at a setting of 2.0 on my sewing machine. Cons: If I am trying to undo stitching for a paper piecing project which has a stitch length of say 1.4 or 1.6, I find that this ripper is not fine enough and I really struggle to correct mistakes made during these projects when using this ripper. Also the cap is small and does not secure onto the other end of the handle (ie: like a pen cap), therefore the cap must remain lose, making it easy to lose. The cap is pretty necessary for storage since the end is sharp, so even though I havent lost the cap yet, I know it is somewhat inevitable which i find unfortunate.

> 3 dayI love this seam ripper! It’s super sharp, easy to hold, and works great! Only thing is cap does not fit on it while using. So just keep up with it.

Greater than one weekI couldnt find my seam ripper that I had had for YEARS, so decided it would be faster to just order one from Amazon than finally get around to driving to Joanns 15 miles away. This seam ripper is AWESOME! I have been wasting so much time using one of the cheapie little blue handled ones-- they are no where near as sharp as the blade on this one. My un-sewing time is so much more efficient and less frustrating using this Clover ripper. Nice shape to the handle. Its slightly more robust than the cheapy blue seam rippers (you all have those, right?) and still light weight and easy to stash in your go to guild bag.

> 3 daySince the handle was flat, it didnt roll around in my hand, which my other older one did. Very sharp and precise.

> 3 dayI used to use a purple ergonomic seam ripper, but after I left it in a hot car, the rubbery surface became a sticky lint magnet. So I purchased this Clover seam ripper as a replacement. I love it! This is the perfect seam ripper. Its small, but fits my hands perfectly. The molded plastic handle is attractive (looks like wood) and is quite comfortable to hold. The ripper is very sharp and slides easily through a stitch. Last but not least, the clear plastic lid on this seam ripper is very sturdy and fits snugly--I dont have to worry about it falling off. Ill be purchasing another of these seam rippers to keep on hand as a backup.
