> 3 dayMy wife sews almost every day. She is always making something or remaking another thing. When she lost her old seam ripper she needed another one so I got her this. She loves it and will not let my mother or her friends use it in fear that they wil lose it. After long hours of use it still seems to rip seams as it did on day one.

> 3 dayAs a beginner sewing I did mistakes. I used ripper to current thread. Initially it is good . After couple uses needle point will become blunt. So depend how long and how mnant tines ripper is used. I think safety pin is much better option. Only draw back is there is no sharp edge to rip. At least I can use multiple times.

> 3 dayIf you think all seam rippers are the same you need to order one of these. This thing is sharp and stays sharp. Wooden handle is a minor detail that is really much more comfortable compared to plastic. I know youre thinking a seam ripper is a seam ripper but give one of these a try. Its a really inexpensive add on item that is well worth the money.

19-11-2024I love this seam ripper! As a ballet costumer, I have a lot of alterations from season to season, so a good seam ripper is quite important. After using it many times over the past few months, it has stayed sharp. It fits well into a seam and is just sharp enough. Ive tried many other brands of seam rippers and this is by far my favorite. The only thing I would change is making the handle a brighter color, as it blends with the wood on my furniture.

Greater than one weekThis is the best little seam ripper. Give it a try. It has a very fine tip to get beneath tight stitches, and the edge is extremely sharp. A well designed tool that is comfortable in the hand. I might get a couple for gifts!

> 3 dayI used this for easily removing those sewn in tags on new clothes. The design of this is excellent for keeping a good grip while doing the detail work of pulling/cutting threads.
