This is a terrific little tool and a real time saver for anyone who sews or quilts. Instead of reaching for the scissors every time, this gadget is right there at the ready. Lots of little bays so should stay sharp for a good long while. Also seems safe for little fingers, if you have curious children in the house. Youll need to purchase your own chain or lanyard separately, but thats just as well since the length youll want it to hang from the neck will be individual to you.

It works really well during travel, is handy, and is not as cumbersome as scissors. However, even though I know its intended as a thread cutter, I bought it for my knitting and am just a little disappointed that the yarn doesnt always cut cleanly.

I really really wanted to like this product. As a crafter and crochet fanatic it is handy to have around. You do not have to worry that it will poke through anything or you place it in. Many people wear it as a pendant especially when traveling and for that I would give it 4 stars. My only problem with this is when im working with yarn, it seems to always fray the end and wont give a clean cut. If your using it for thread or something for beading it probably will work well. I did purchase this for a friend who has a small child and likes to go after the scissors.

Good idea. It isnt very sharp, the end of the thread is left frayed so not as handy as I was hoping. It is hard to thread a needle with frayed ends.

Pretty and functional, this pendant has a nice heft. The bail that holds a chain to go around your neck doubles as a spool anchor if you want to keep your cutter on your spool instead of on your person. It also fits smaller split ring key rings, so you can carry on a key chain as well. I use mine on a regular basis and wear it with pride. Makes me appreciate the heritage of my craft.

I was hesitant about buying this one it wasnt the one I thought I wanted. I am glad I bought this thread cutter It is just the one I needed . It is well built, small, easy to use, you can use it where you want to instead of having to take your project to your cuter. I would highly recommend this cutter. Love it
