> 3 dayThese are much better than the old style long ones that clasp. These are easier to use and move around. I like that they come in 3 sizes for the different projects that I work on. They are smooth and easy to work with because theyre very light and not too long, just big enough for a cable.

16-04-2025They serve their purpose perfectly! They are smooth and come in a variety of sizes. I love the hook part that allows the held stitches to hang nicely without the entire needle getting in the way. I dont generally knit the stiches off of the hook, I will slip them back on the knitting needle before knitting them, but that is just my style! I have a knitting friend that will knit them right off! I got the Jumbo ones too. My first cable was knit with the aid of a double pointed needle. The needle would wobble around, and sometimes slide off, dropping the stitches, and the needle would get in my way. I swore off cables until a friend showed me these --I now love working with cables!

> 3 dayThese are ok but they are not pointy enough for a lot of yarns…not so easy to pick up stitches without splitting the yarn.

Greater than one weekI am replacing lost needles I had sent to Kenya in a care package a couple of years ago. The young woman makes baby clothes to help support her. They are very sturdy and are her favorite cable needles.
