Hands down the best shaving butter. Cuts great with cartridge razors. Perfect slickness. And smells like classic barbershop

I have to shave almost everyday for work. After going through almost two tubes I have no complaints and actually prefer it to the Dr Carvers. It’s a thick consistency that requires only a small amount to get a nice buttery lather over the whole face. A little goes a long way. It has a subtle classic barber talc scent that I enjoy. It makes for a smooth gentle shave that leaves my face feeling soft afterwards. You get three tubes and it goes a long way so I would say its a good value for the price.

Difficult to rinse from razor. Could be improved by making it more soluble in water.

Pleasant scent, not oily and provides a comfortable shave.

I have liked Cubman Pinaud products ever since I was a kid and they use them at the barbershop. My mom took me to. Got familiar with them again in college or the campus. Barber Shop also used him. Ive stumbled into them at private clubs over the years and just recently decided to see if I could find them online. I have used various other shaving butters, but the scent of this one is exceptional and it is my new favorite by far.

Ive only been using a razor for the past 3-4 years. For the first 35 years Ive used an electric shaver. Ive tried several shave gels, creams and butters. This one seems to give me the best results. I used to buy it at the local drug store, but they havent had it in stock lately. When I found it here, I had to stock up.

Best Ive used yet, and Ive been shaving since 1969. I used to use Dollar Shave Club shaving butter, and that was good. This is different and better. Using a well-worn razor on three day growth I got the best shave ever. Im sold.

This Shave Butter is more of a shave cream/foam than your typical shave butter. The shave butters Ive used are almost clear and slick/oily, like, butter. This looks more like what would come out of a can, just a little thicker. I got what I would call an average comfortable shave. I prefer Cremo. I placed Cremo in one hand and this Shave Butter in the other, added a little water and the Cremo was noticeably slicker.

Ive been wet shaving for over 10 years, and am very familiar with Pinaud products. I had never tried shave butter, but picked up a tube of this somewhere (Target?) to use when traveling. My at-home set up is a high end brush and quite a few artisan shaving soaps, but those take up a ton of space when on the road. A little of this shave butter goes a long way. It provides good cushioning and slickness, two things I look for in my shaving soaps, creams, etc. and it rinses very clean. It smells nice, though not as strong as I would expect, when compared to one of my go-to aftershaves, Pinaud Clubman.
