Greater than one weekMy Laptop screen went fully black on me one day, ... it worked on my TV as an external monitor... the issue was with the laptop screen itself. It was going to take a few weeks for Dell to get it replaced, so I ordered this screen and placed it right on top of my dead screen. My friends couldnt even tell I was using a different monitor until I pulled it off.

I am very satisfied with the way the monitor works. I am not sure yet how sturdy the magnetic cover that doubles as a stand is, but so far, so good. Very satisfied.
